Abstract: The enlarged forecast area, the twice nested typhoon bogusing technique and the model mesh initial movable scheme are performed in typhoon numerical model of National Meteorological Center (NMC). The experimental results show that the typhoon track predictions for the three schemes are all improved, and the advances for typhoon intensity prediction with NMC typhoon numerical model are described.
